The unit includes a st andard Type 21 mechanical seal assembly constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon mating ring, EPT elastomers, and stainless steel spring and retainer components. This configuration uses standardized service components throughout the assembly to simplify maintenance requirements. The cooler-running bearing cartridge design serves to protect the internal bearing assembly from the thermal effects of the circulating system fluid, promoting long-term reliability in commercial hydronic applications. The unit has a 1/4 HP motor with an operating speed of 1750 RPM running on 115V 1PH power. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings.
