These lovely boxed pattern weights are made in the UK by The Industrious Maker, Gill Flury. Gill's design process involves the collection of an ephemera of vintage sewing items and packaging which are photographed, drawn from and digitally manipulated to create unique modern sewing accessories with a vintage style. Each weight is approx 70gms to hold your your sewing patterns and papers in place. The vintage style designs printed onto organic cotton using eco friendly inks. The weights are made from repurposed solid brass plumbing parts which are manufactured in Yorkshire in the UK. They are polished and stuffed with Shetland felt and British lambswool so they can also mind any stray needles. The weights come wrapped in vintage sewing pattern tissue and fit snugly in the circular gift box with a fabric printed lid.
