This is an amazing book because it is about a real haystack and the surprising animals that can be seen when children - or adults - start to look at the world in a new way. I will then show you how to begin to see animals within trees. When I have helped you a little to see these things and what fun it is, you can take your new eyes away with you to use in many other places. Your child will then be able, with your support where needed, to post online photos of the animals that they see within the forest trees.Always, I find that the best children’s books and films offer as much to adults as to children. That's certainly the case here and one aspect of this book is that it usually leads to discussion of what can be seen with your child, rather than just a story that is either read to them or given to them to read.Nearly all their young lives children experience adults knowing more than they do.
