The Sweep recalls the unsettling history of child chimney sweeps, common place until 1875. A memorial to one such soul, Valentine Gray, sits today in Church Litten park. Featuring a smoke-like clash of dark grey and dirty white, these little spirits reflect the lot of the little sweeps. Our large ghost figurines measure approximately 8cm tall and are hand-made with care on the Isle of Wight, thought to be the most haunted island in the world. Each ghost is completely unique and features an Isle of Wight shaped base. Matt finish. Please note that by virtue of the hand-making and finishing process, minor imperfections or colour variations may be present. These are normal and add to the character of each spirit, with each one being a true one-of-a-kind. Show more
