This coffee was sourced through our direct trade relationship with Gabriel de Carvalho Dias at his Fazenda Cachoeira da Grama. Gabriel is an agronomist and takes his crop very seri ously – having coffees being finalists regularly at the Cup of Excellence competition. Yep, Gabriel consistently wins awards for how delicious his coffee is. However, social and environmental sustainability also a priority. They have developed a program of planting native species to keep a better ecological balance. The farm also has a school, a club and an official size soccer field for their employees.
