This is an upright tree that forms a slightly bowl shaped around it base. Almost square shaped at maturity, the tree tops out at 18-20' tall and 10-12' wide. This unusual shape con trasts well with other crabapples that typically are wider than tall and more circular in shape. The flowers burst open in April and are deep purple in the center and fade to pale pink toward their edges. The foliage opens before the flowers fall and are also deep purple. Ships Spring 2026.
