Rhythm's original “DWS Timecracker” is, without a doubt, one of the most iconic musical clocks ever produced. Encased in a wooden frame and finished with a redwood burl, its fun details and festive ambience create a joyous, yet nostalgic aura. It was released in 2000 as the lead, debut model in Rhythm’s best-selling Timecracker series of Magic Motion clocks. This series was so popular that Rhythm would go on to release a myriad of different models in the series, with variations of it still being produced to this day. At the top of the hour or when the demonstration button is pressed, the reflective golden dial comes to life and literally “cracks” into two pieces. The pieces rotate around the clock to reveal various hidden figurines beneath, until they meet again.
