This off-kilter amphibian is handcrafted from stainless steel flatware — forks form its body and feet, while spoons shape its wide-eyed head. It balances playfully on a spiral arm, swaying in the breeze with the help of a lily pad counterweight. Mounted on a 36” garden stake (complete with spoon perch), each Tipsy Toad is handmade by Paul’s Metal Petals and will vary slightly in appearance — no two are quite the same, and that’s half the fun. The spiral and counterweight are unfinished metal and may develop rust over time when exposed to the elements. If you’d prefer to keep them looking shiny, a quick coat of clear urethane can help protect against rust.
