Ropreco Paste Solanum esculentum (70 days) A fine old Italian heirloom paste tomato that actually tastes good fresh, unlike the many mealy Roma types out there. It is highly diseas e resistant to most common tomato foliar and fruit ailments. Does not require staking as it produces its fruit in a concentrated set. Suitable for sauce, drying and other canning projects. Fruits are 2-3 ounces, oblong and bright red. From a trial of a dozen paste tomatoes that we did in 2015 this was our most productive variety.
