TransTape is the original gender-affirming body tape that is a backless and waterproof alternative to chest binders. TransTape is waterproof and sweatproof, it can be worn in the shower, the pool and even in the ocean! Because tape applied as directed does not compress the body or lungs it does not restrict breathing and it is safe to sleep in. TransTape is made from a blend of 95% cotton and 5% spandex with a latex-free medical grade adhesive. There is no set guideline on how long to wear, some users only wear it for a day or two and some can wear it for up to a week. It is recommended to always do a test strip before application. To test if your skin has an allergy, apply a 2-inch strip to the area where you'll be using TransTape - usually under your arms or on your chest. Monitor the area for any itching or signs of reaction for 24 to 48 hours, remove with oil. Nipples should be covered before aplication of tape. Ten nipple covers are included with each roll, additional covers can be made from TransTape or Bandaids.
