Timut berry grows on small trees in Nepal near the Terai region, known as Buddha's birthplace. A spice with a sacred character, with a unique acidic and citrus leading flavour, part of every dish in Nepalese cuisine (momos, thukpa, chutneys etc) and served as a token of hospitality to guests. The timur berry has strong citrusy notes of grapefruit and contains a high level of zinc, a potent mineral essential for improving the immunity of the body. *Mount Kanchenjunga: Kanchenjunga is located at the eastern end of the Himalayas, on the border of Nepal, India, and Sikkim.
