Perfect for brand-new quilters or confident beginners, you’ll learn the essential skills needed to create a finished quilt top—and the confidence to keep quilting on your own. Over four classes, we’ll cover fabric selection and cutting, accurate piecing, pressing, and assembling your quilt top. You’ll also learn helpful tips for staying organized, improving accuracy, and avoiding common beginner mistakes. By the end of the series, you’ll have a completed quilt top and a solid foundation in quilting basics. Skills covered include: Rotary cutting and safe tool use Piecing and seam accuracy Pressing techniques Layout and assembly of a quilt top Basic quilting vocabulary and best practices Audience: Sewists new to quilting, or anyone who wants a supportive, hands-on introduction in a small group setting.
