Recovered as a bloom in a partially closed state. Form elongated, with layered segments folded inward along a central axis. No clear symmetry. Outer structure compressed, edges dra wn tightly together. Drying produces further contraction across the form. Layers pull closer together, reducing the remaining openings. Structure stabilises once fully set. Copper adheres first along the outer ridges, then settles into the folds. Deposition gathers in the recessed areas, reinforcing the layered structure. Outer surfaces remain smoother by comparison. No comparable specimens available. Margin note: I know this one. Just… not the name. Show more
