These barbell hangers were developed in collaboration with Joe Gray of Gray Matter Lifting. Mount these hangers to a stud or a stringer board for a high density bar storage solution. The 33mm variant holds most normal barbells. The 53mm variant will hold specialty bars like trap bars and axel bars. Each hanger is sold individually and comes with two screws for mounting: 1 - SPAX Powerlag 1/4" x 2-1/2" (T30 drive)1 - SPAX #8x2" (T20 drive) Each hanger is 3"/75mm wide and places the bar 2.5"/63mm from the wall. Installation: Find an appropriate place to mount the hanger. Find a stud or mount a board horizontally across multiple studs (stringer board). Do not mount solely into drywall. Determine your mounting height. The height will need to be high enough so that the bottom of your barbells do not hit the ground. Use your T30 drive bit on the 1/4" Powerlag screw on the top hole to mount the hanger. You do not need to pre-drill. Level the hanger and use the #8 screw with a T20 bit in the lower hole for anti-rotation.
