High Strength Fork Extensions are the perfect accessory for new or existing forks. The high strength material provides extra support needed to lift large heavy objects with a fork lift. A 3/16" thickness and included lifting handle for simple placement of the extension onto the lifting fork. These models are almost 40% lighter than standard fork extensions. 4,000 pound capacity is evenly distributed per pair. A powder coat finish is included to diminish scraps and minimize abrasion during use. Baked-in powder coat finish for added toughness. There are two handles included on each fork extensions. The larger handle is welded to the outside of the extension and is designed to go around the heel of the fork. The smaller handle is designed to assist the user while installing or removing the extension. The smaller of the two handles is welded to the inside of each extension and is located at the front of the unit. HOW TO USE / INSTALLATION Insert loop at the tip of the fork and slide it up at a 45 degree angle then lay it down over the existing fork. To be used with class 2 and class 3 forks only.
