Vintage Crabtree Brass / Brown Ceramic British Toggle Light Switch For all collectors of period homewares or Architectural salvage, we have a genuine Vintage Crabtree Brass / Brown Ceramic British Toggle Light Switch. It dates to about the 1930s.The face is brass and the back is brown ceramic/porcelain. Approximate size:Base Diameter: 5.8 cmApproximate height (base to tip of switch): 4 cm Ceramic is embossed with: British Make Crabtree Regd No. 667073702174 Patent C1030 64.5.11.5 5156/27 No.9 Vitreous It is in reasonably good vintage condition. There are a few scuffs on the surface, and the brass is discoloured and slightly misshapen but may benefit from a careful polish.The switch is not up to current IEE regulations.
