Process Vivid starts with hand harvesting ripe Geisha cherries from Finca Deborah's impeccable rainforest. Cherries are then deposited into hermetically sealed tanks for 50 hrs of carbonic maceration and carefully monitored for pH and temperature to maintain process consistency. Cherries are then pulped, removing the skin and fruit of the cherry, then placed on shaded, raised, African beds where the coffee is gently agitated and slowly dried. In the cup, Vivid strikes the perfect balance of fruit forward intensity and washed clarity. Expect flavors of yellow peach, champagne, and vanilla, with perfume-like aromatics indicative of jasmine and citrus flower. Vivid placed second (2nd Place) in the World Brewers Cup, 2017 and is a favorite for both natural and washed coffee drinkers.
