WarmMark® Long-Run Ascending Temperature Indicators WarmMark® Long-Run indicators provide clear, irreversible visual evidence that a shipment has experienced cumulative temperature exposure above a defined threshold over an extended monitoring period. They are widely used to support cold chain compliance, quality investigations, acceptance checks, and carrier accountability for temperature-sensitive goods. How It Works WarmMark® Long-Run indicators are calibrated to a specific temperature threshold. If exposure above that threshold occurs for long enough to represent a meaningful excursion, the indicator changes permanently, providing a simple visual record that an out-of-spec temperature event has occurred. The colour change is irreversible and intended for one-time monitoring. These indicators are designed for longer-duration shipments and storage profiles where extended exposure risk is a concern. Temperature Models 10 °C / 50 °F 31 °C / 88 °F Pack Options 10 Pack 100 Pack Typical Applications Pharmaceuticals, biologics, and vaccines Diagnostics, reagents, and laboratory supplies Temperature-sensitive chemicals and consumables Cold chain validation and longer-distance transport Storage and distribution monitoring where extended exposure is a concern Key Features Irreversible visual temperature excursion indication No batteries, electronics, or calibration required Simple to deploy and easy to interpret on receipt Self-adhesive backing for quick application to cases, crates, or packaging Supports QA documentation, compliance checks, and carrier performance review Use & Handling Clauses Placement: Apply the indicator to a clean, dry surface on the outside of the package where it can be inspected on receipt. Avoid placement where it may be rubbed, crushed, or obscured by labels, strapping, or handling. Activation & Interpretation: The indicator provides a visual indication that the rated threshold has been exceeded. It does not record the exact time, duration, or maximum temperature reached. One-Time / Irreversible: Activation is permanent and intended for one-time monitoring. Indicators cannot be reset or reused. Environment: Avoid exposing indicators to conditions outside intended use (e.g., direct sunlight, heaters, chemical vapours, or persistent condensation) that could affect readability or handling. Inspection & Records: Inspect and record indicator status at dispatch and on receipt. Photographing the indicator in situ is recommended for quality and compliance records. Suitability & Liability: Indicators do not prevent excursions or guarantee product condition. They support decision-making and investigation; users must validate suitability for their application, packaging design, and SOPs.
