Maui Toy Works (division of Kites Hawaii, Ltd.), started on Oahu in 1982 as Kite Fantasy. This would become Hawaii’s first professional kite center. Robert and Barbara Loera, the original owners, expanded to Maui in 1987 and eventually transformed into Lahaina's beloved toy store, Maui Toy Works.
