This is probably one of the MOST VALUABLE set of books ever published on Arkansas Families. There are 7 volumes to the set, of which all have been reprinted by SHP, inc. with a NEW FULL NAME INDEX at one point in time. This book is broken into two main sections. The first is devoted to the history of the counties, while the second section contains biographical sketches of some 930 individuals and genealogical data of some 4,750 other families/individuals for the following counties: Jefferson, Saline, Hot Spring, Pulaski, Garland, Lanoke, Perry, Faulkner and Grant. The New Index that was prepared for this reprint edition contains the names of over 14,500 individuals.
