The first is devoted to the history of the counties, while the second section contains biographical sketches of some 1,250 individuals a nd genealogical data of some 4,750 other families/individuals for the following counties: Arkansas, Crittenden, Cross, Lee, Monroe, Phillip, Prairie, and St. Francis. The New Index that was prepared for this reprint edition contains the names of over 17,500 individuals.
