This unit was fully disassembled and cleaned internally; dust was removed from all components. All boards and electrical contacts were cleaned with ethanol and a fast-drying, residue-free electronics cleaner to remove oxidation and residue. Moving mechanical parts were lubricated with a light application of silicone grease for smooth, quiet operation. (We do not apply grease to electrical contacts — they are cleaned only.) Electrolytic capacitors are replaced only when there is visible corrosion or leakage — nothing more, nothing less.
