Moving mechanical parts were lubricated with a light application of silicone grease for smooth, quiet operation. (We do not apply grease to electrical contacts — they are cleaned only.) Electrolytic capacitors are replaced only when there is visible corrosion or leakage — nothing more, nothing less.
