From a CA designer, this is such a lovely piece! The color is natural, and the base fabric is a light weight cotton with an embroidered lacey selvage along both sides, and some embroidered little flowers further into the body of the fabric. The fabric is shown below from different orientations: the top and middle right photos show the selvedges "east and west", and the middle left photo and bottom photos show the selvedges "north and south" so that you can see how it would look with the selvage as the neckline or hem of your garment. The fabric is semi-sheer/semi-opaque with a lovely cottony drape no matter which way you cut (with or across the grain).
