A special edition pedal paying homage to the world's greatest guitarist, Jimi Hendrix. The distinctive art design is based on the famous poster that adorned the wall of the Shrine Auditorium, the venue for a concert held in Los Angeles in February 1968. The poster design, created by John Van Hamersveld, an artist who, like Jimi Hendrix, is a representative figure of pop culture and the hippie movement, has been specially adapted for this pedal by Simon Berndt of One Horse Town Illustration. The design was inspired by the American flag, as UNI-VIBE was used to perform the American national anthem "Star Spangled Banner" on guitar on the Woodstock stage. The JHMS3 UNI-VIBE(R) is housed in a compact enclosure and reproduces the same sound as the vintage units from 1969-1970. It provides the unique, fluctuating chorus/rotary speaker sound known as the "underwater sound" heard on Jimi Hendrix's classic album, Band of Gypsys. The switch on the top of the unit allows you to select Vibe mode, which switches to a thick, undulating vibrato sound.-Specifications- [VIBE OFF] Input Impedance: 600 kΩ Output Impedance Full Volume: 29 kΩ Half Volume: 33 kΩ Max Input: 0 dBV Max Output: 8 dBV Noise Floor: -97 dBV Speed Control: 0.5Hz to 10.5Hz Bypass: True Hardwire [VIBE ON] Input Impedance: 730 kΩ Output Impedance Full Volume: 180 kΩ Half Volume: 33 kΩ Max Input: 0 dBV Max Output: 27 dBV Noise Floor: -97 dBV Speed Control: 0.5Hz to 10.5Hz Bypass: True Hardwire POWER REQUIREMENTS Current Draw: 5 mA Power Requirements: 9 volts DC
