This is a stunning dressy coating fabric from a NY designer. The base fabric is black, medium weight with a plain weave and a soft hand, and the needle-felting creates areas of tex ture that show as silvery white on the back side. On the face the silvery fibers are over-printed to create an abstracted floral design in tones of rose, green, lemon, pale pink and soft navy (PANTONE 17-2127, 15-6114, 12-0643, etc.). It is a medium coating weight with lots of dimension and interest, and it has felt-like body in the drape.
