Martin Factory Wood Select Model! Martin has a long history of blending tradition with innovation, and to this day it has become a long-established name in the acoustic guitar worl d, captivating audiences around the world with its sound. The Custom Shop is the pinnacle of Martin's production line. A variety of models are produced, from gorgeous show models to models that pursue a vintage feel to the extreme, and modern models made from the finest wood. This model was completed after our staff visited the Martin factory to select the wood and hold detailed discussions on-site. This model features the rare Martin LX Pink color, a pop and vibrant pink that creates a different atmosphere from existing models. This color is rarely ordered, and it is extremely difficult to achieve, making it an extremely rare custom-made specification for a D-28 model. This is truly a one-of-a-kind masterpiece that can only be found at a custom shop! The wood used is carefully selected from our custom shop archives, ensuring not only the look but also the sound. While vibrant colors are typically achieved with maple, this model was specifically ordered with rosewood, taking into consideration the sound of the D-28 Sandard. It not only delivers the sharp highs and deep lows characteristic of a dreadnought, but also a rich, enveloping overtone. We have deliberately made the dimensions, parts, and bracing the same as the D-28 Sandard, creating a guitar that is even more distinctive. The D-28 is a global classic with its powerful tone, one-of-a-kind appearance, and supreme custom shop sound. This is a collaboration model that could only be realized between Ikebe Musical Instruments and Martin. A fusion of tradition and innovation.
