It i s based on the circuit of the EH Axis (Guild Foxey Lady), which started the trend towards the Big Muff, and has been upgraded in various ways. Nasty and boomy, it produces the emotional, pulsating sound typical of silicon fuzz, with an astonishing sense of volume, reminiscent of glam-era Mick Ronson (guitarist for David Bowie and The Spider from Mars), just as its graphic design suggests. Its distinctive fuzz sound, with a peak in the low-mids, shares a similar center of gravity with the garage sound of the 1960s. A mini toggle switch on the top allows you to switch between a more treble-heavy sound and a more powerful sound with a more prominent low-mids. It also responds quickly to your guitar's volume control, allowing you to fine-tune the amount of distortion.
