The Big Puft Jr. is a homage to the great BMP fuzz circuit we all know and love, with a touch of Mythos flair. Sonically, Zach and his team tweaked the circuitry to achieve a fuller, more mid-range-emphasized tone. Gone are the days when this style of fuzz gets lost in the mix: the Big Puft's Tone knob is tuned to give you a flat EQ sound at 12 o'clock, but instantly unlock the classic fuzz sound this style of pedal is known for with a simple turn of the knob. Like all Mythos pedals, we've focused on optimizing the functionality and taper of each knob. The Sustain control covers a wide range of gain sounds, so the Big Puft can go from mellow and smooth to scorching fuzz levels. It's truly versatile!
