Despite their meticulous craftsmanship, they boast incredible cost performance and offer a wide lineup that covers everything from folk style to fingerstyle. Morris, a long-established Japanese brand that dominated the folk music boom of the 1970s, also played a key role in the 2000s by developing and releasing a guitar perfectly suited to the new movement known as "fingerstyle guitar," and in spreading and popularizing that style within Japan. Introduced in 2001 as a dedicated fingerstyle guitar, the S series gained popularity for its exceptional playability and outstanding sound, and has undergone numerous improvements since then. It remains a beloved "masterpiece of fingerstyle guitars," enjoyed by everyone from beginners to veterans, and continues to be popular even more than 20 years later. This instrument, the "S-104ZEB," is a model that uses zebrawood for the sides and back and features beautiful inlays. The top is made of Engelmann spruce, and the sides and back are made of zebrawood, which has characteristics similar to rosewood.
