Item Name: Boro Batch - Small Batch - Crystal Test - Bottom Shelf SKU: BB-SB-388-OPTION388 Description: BB SB Crystal Test is a transparent borosilicate color rod intended for flameworking and other torch-based glasswork where you want a clean, clear look without visible tint. It is pulled as solid rod and is used like any other boro color rod, giving you a consistent, workable clear for practice pieces, clean overlays, and components where you want the form and internal detail to be the focus. How it is used: In lampworking, this rod is typically introduced into a neutral to slightly oxidizing flame and worked as a base material or as a casing layer over other colors. It is especially useful for encasing detail, pulling clean stringer, making clear dots and seals, and building transparent sections in sculptural work. It can also be used in kilnformed borosilicate assemblies where a transparent element is needed, provided your process is compatible with borosilicate working ranges. How It's Sold: This item is available by the pound (LB) or 1/4 lb.
