John Capps has been buying knife parts from us even before Redbeard was ever around. Recently, he has entered some of his knife/sheath making videos to our contests and winning bes t video! Those can be seen here. We since talked him into offering some of these beautiful pieces of work to the world and we are happy that we are the ones to be able to show them off! This First one that we are starting with is simple yet beautiful and clean. Starting with the well known Laurin Metalli 80mm Carving blade made from High Carbon 80CrV2. John used an excellent piece of White Oak that he harvested and a Brass Bolster with a boiled Linseed oil finish. The Sheath is actually the exact one that he built in our "how to build a sheath" video so you can watch him build this exact one and all of the steps. Back sewn from veg tanned leather. This sheath fits the knife perfectly as a puukko sheath should with a dangler attached to fit any standard belt. Clean work and beautiful knife. Show more
