John Capps has been buying knife parts from us even before Redbeard was ever around. Recently, he has entered some of his knife/sheath making videos to our contests and winning best video! Those can be seen here. We since talked him into offering some of these beautiful pieces of work to the world and we are happy that we are the ones to be able to show them off! This Fourth one and last one from this batch is another Looker! We always love these sheaths with the top half leather and the Bottom half a matching piece of wood to the handle. This one started with the well known Laruin Metalli Carving 80mm Stainless Steel blade from Finland. The handle is bade from White Oak, Nickel Silver Fittings and Corian Spacers to add a beautiful touch. Finished with Birchwood Casey Tru Oil Finish. The Sheath is another work of art. Bottom sewn from veg tanned leather and a matching piece of White Oak bottom with the same Tru Oil Finish. This Knife fits into this sheath excellent as any great puukko should.
