A vintage Blanc de Blancs from the 2014 harvest, sourced from the Chardonnay vineyards around Mancy on the Coteaux Sud d'Épernay, where Chardonnay has historically been the dominant variety and gave rise to the Esterlin brand. Vinified without malolactic fermentation, aged 10+ years on lees as part of the Identitaires & Authentiques range. The 2014 vintage in Champagne was marked by contrasting weather followed by a positive harvest of good quality and comfortable yields. Extra-Brut dosage to preserve the natural tension of the Chardonnay. Tasting notes: A good vintage, distinguished. Delicacy and maturity aromas combined, a silky texture typical of Chardonnay, with citrus and yellow fruit on the nose developing into greater complexity on the palate after the long lees ageing. Food pairing: A champagne for the table. Outstanding with fine shellfish, noble fish, white meats and semi-cooked foie gras.
