Jordan EJ12 (2002): The Artisan's Resolve The Jordan EJ12 was a thoroughly redesigned machine. Giancarlo Fisichella returned to the team he had driven to a podium five years earlier, joined by Japanese debutant Takuma Sato. The car featured a redesigned carbon-fibre monocoque, revised front suspension and a new aerodynamic package with a sweeping low nose, paired with the Honda RA002E V10 through a seven-speed transmission. Fisichella repeatedly exceeded the car's inherent limitations in qualifying, and the team secured nine points and sixth in the Constructors' Championship, though the season also marked Honda's decision to move their works package elsewhere. The finest craftsmen are defined not by their best days but by what they produce under constraint. The EJ12 was built with artisan resolve: maximum effort from limited resources. This watch honours the watchmaker's ethos, that exceptional dedication can elevate any instrument beyond its material means. The Watch The watch itself is the Hunter evolved. At its heart beats the CIGA Design in-house CD-011 manual tourbillon, its skeletonised bridge and base plate expanding the visible mechanism by 200 per cent. Green-tipped luminous hands honour Eddie's Irish roots, blue screws and ruby jewels echo his ardour and reason, and the yellow strap carries the colours of Jordan Grand Prix. Eddie's signature is engraved on the three-layered octagonal case, forged from DLC-coated Grade 5 titanium, and his FTB wrist tattoo is embossed on the strap loop. The Signed Print This piece is paired with a print of the Jordan EJ12, personally signed by Andy Stevenson. Andy joined Eddie's team in 1988, before Jordan ever reached Formula One, and worked on every car the team built, from the 191 to the EJ15. He went on to become one of the most respected figures in the paddock and has never missed a race since. His signature connects this watch directly to the hands that built the car it honours.
