The Program Outline Structured Progression: The program is split into two 4-week blocks. Each block includes three weeks of building your fitness, followed by one easier week to allow your body to recover, adapt, and prepare for the next stage. Feel-Based Training: I use a 5-tier effort framework — Easy, Aerobic, Tempo, Threshold, and VO₂/Fast — to help you understand the purpose of each session. This takes away some of the pressure of relying only on pace and helps you become more in tune with your running. Dynamic Workouts: The program includes a mix of quality sessions, including classic speed workouts like the Mona Fartlek, along with sustained tempo efforts to improve your endurance and ability to hold a strong pace.
