These Villa Ebonised Door Knobs have been turned to give them a smooth shape and are finished with a Reeded Cap. Taken from an original design, recovered from a period property in Wimbledon, it has been reproduced exactly. These door knobs are made from an African Teak, which is stained and ebonised to give a rich, black finish. Both the door knob and the rose have been distressed slightly to give a real aged feel, adding to their authenticity. Please note surface markings should be expected. Roses available in: Polished Brass Unlacquered Polished Nickel Dark Bronze The door knobs are Unsprung, so you will need a lock or latch that is suitable for use with unsprung door knobs and has backset of 75mm or more. Supplied with matching fixings. The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.
