The lactate test measures the increase in blood lactate with increasing intensity. The test will consist of around five stages at increasing intensities. You will be asked to provi de a small blood sample from your finger between stages to measure lactate levels in the blood based on your current fitness level. By analyzing the data collected during the test (lactate, heart rate, and speed/power), we determine your anaerobic threshold, and establish specific heart rate and pace/power training zones to assist you in improving your sport-specific performance.
