Product Description You do not need a skid steer or tractor to get into real firewood processing. The Blacks Creek Model 1250 Stand-Alone is the entry point into the Blacks Creek lineup, a genuine Canadian-made firewood processor that runs on its own 14HP Briggs and Stratton engine and is ready to work right where you set it up. Built for households and small firewood producers who want a real processor without a large commercial investment, the Model 1250 handles logs up to 16 inches in diameter and 8 feet long, sawing, splitting, and sizing firewood in one continuous operation. The 18-inch bar and 3/8 chain cuts cleanly and precisely, while the adjustable 4-way hydraulic wedge splits blocks from 12 to 24 inches in 2-inch increments so you always get the right length. The 7-foot hydraulic chain in-feed log deck keeps logs feeding steadily so you are not stopping to hand-feed every piece, and the 3.5 x 24-inch splitting cylinder delivers consistent splitting force on every pass. Gravity-feed chain lubrication keeps the bar properly oiled during operation without manual intervention. When you are ready to grow, available options including a hydraulic log lift, out-feed conveyor, and live log deck let you scale the machine up with your operation, all without needing to buy a new machine. Ideal For: Households, hobby farmers, and small firewood producers who want a genuine Canadian-made stand-alone firewood processor that runs independently without a skid steer or tractor and delivers real processing performance at an entry-level price point.
