Nutramigen 3 with LGG is an extensively hydrolysed, hypoallergenic formula designed for the dietary management of children with mild to moderate cow's milk allergy from 1 year of age. It is intended for use as part of a varied diet and must be used under medical supervision. How to prepare:Wash hands thoroughly and sterilise bottles, teats, caps and feeding utensils according to the manufacturer's instructions. Boil fresh water and allow it to cool to room temperature. Do not use softened water. Pour the required amount of water into a clean bottle or cup and add the correct number of level scoops using only the scoop supplied in the tin. Use 1 level scoop (4.5g) for every 30ml of water. Close the bottle and roll and shake well for approximately one minute until the powder has dissolved completely. Check the temperature before feeding. It is intended for children from 1 year onwards as part of a varied diet and is not intended to be the sole source of nutrition. Powdered formula is not sterile. Prepare feeds carefully according to the manufacturer's instructions. Once prepared, feed immediately where possible. Prepared formula may be covered and refrigerated at 2–4°C for no longer than 24 hours. Do not freeze prepared formula or use it if it has been unrefrigerated for more than 2 hours. Once feeding has begun, use within 1 hour and discard any remaining formula. The product contains extensively hydrolysed milk protein and soya oil. Use only when recommended for the child's diagnosed dietary requirements. Store the unopened and opened tin in a cool, dry place. Once opened, keep tightly covered and use within 1 month.
