A peacock in full display carved into solid Raintree, its tail fanned out to fill the seat: feathers striped green and yellow, each tipped with a painted eye in orange and black, t he body a deep cobalt blue. Made in northern Thailand, where this style of relief carving has been a workshop trade for generations.Solid and low to the ground. Works as a side table or plant stand as readily as a seat.
