REAL stone-ground rye flour from Barton Springs Mill hits different. It just does. If you haven't tried it (and if you've only been eating supermarket "rye" bread, you probably hav en't), it's amazing. It gives deep color, flavor, and aroma across many bakes, which is why we love it for our Cardamom Orange Spritz cookies and pumpernickel bread. With that said, this variety is a milder rye than its cousin, Danko Rye, and is probably more approachable.
