Vintage Crabtree Brass / White Ceramic British Toggle Light Switch With Square Base For all collectors of period homewares or Architectural salvage, we have a genuine Vintage Crabt ree Brass / White Ceramic British Toggle Light Switch With Square Base. It dates to about the 1930s.The face is circle-shaped brass and the back is white square-shaped vitreous ceramic/porcelain. A very unusual design. Approximate size:Base Width/ Height: 4.5 cmApproximate height (base to tip of switch): 4 cm Ceramic is embossed with: Made In England Crabtree Patent C1001 60.3.11.5 5156-95 No.7 Vitreous It is in reasonably good vintage condition. There are scuffs on the surface, and the brass is discoloured/pitted but may benefit from a careful polish.The switch is not up to current IEE regulations.
