A scene controlled by the contrast of scale and color, brought together with phenomenal composition and pattern of shapes. One half of the CHRONICLE is filled with the detailed and flowing state of a culturally rich building in the center of Shangri-La, China. Its brick-lined walls curve with a deep yellow hue, and they're lined with a row of warm bulbs. The other half is empty space, used to bring to light the difference, the distance, between our home and the sky. There is a noticeable gradient from the bottom of the print to the top, increasing the effect of the image, making the moon look even more distant from us. It all comes together in a beautiful flow and feel that I thoroughly enjoy. This is BEYOND. STORY Beyond the shadows that are cast upon the moon sits the massive chunk of space rock that we get to look at everyday. The attention that is stolen by the horizon, the glow of light that cradles the moon, is something unexpected, if you didn't already know what it was that is. In our world, I find that people who are working smarter and harder are so close to reaching their goal, so close to unveiling the beautiful riches of their target. We take the first few steps and stop just before we get to see the reap of our farms. This photo speaks to me in this way. I have led to start something here, and everyday I have to remind myself that my goal is only around the corner. I have to keep telling myself that even though what I see right now doesn't quite qualify as success, and likely won't for a bit longer, I will get there. The same goes for you. If you are working hard in life and you feel like you just can't quite get there, then you've got to take the next step, and then the next step. You are so close to making it; all you are seeing right now is the snippet of horizon that is being lit by your rising sun. So take that chance, take that jump, take that step, and use all of your wisdom and strength to make it. If you choose to hang this up on your wall, remember this story. Remember that you will get there. Thank you for reading. WHITE BORDER Border & Presentation Details All prints are produced edge-to-edge, with no white border, allowing the image to fully occupy the space for a clean, modern presentation. The only exception is Hahnemühle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth, which includes a 0.79" (20 mm) white border as part of its fine art presentation, enhancing its gallery-style aesthetic. If you prefer a white border on other materials, this can be achieved through custom framing using a mat board. This involves selecting a slightly larger frame and adding a mat, which surrounds the image and creates that classic, centered border effect. **For collectors who strongly prefer a built-in white border on other materials, custom orders are available upon request.
