A full height post lantern for a driveway or boundary Where the pedestal version sits low, this pillar lantern puts the same squared, glass sided lantern head on a full length post , so it reads more like a traditional lamp post than a low marker light. Cast in matte black aluminium with clear glass panes on all four sides. How it works A single E27 bulb sits inside the lantern head at the top of the post, throwing light out at around head height rather than down at your feet. Fixed to a base plate rather than hung or wall mounted, and it will run on a dimmer if you fit a dimmable bulb. Where it works best Standing 94cm tall, it suits a driveway entrance, a gate or a spot along a boundary wall where you want a proper lamp post rather than something set flush to the ground.
