About the 2 Panel Half Oak Door This half-glazed two-panel door pairs a solid oak lower panel with a large upper section that is supplied unglazed, giving a simple, contemporary look that suits modern homes. It comes with all the oak beading needed to fit your own glazing panel. Handcrafted solid oak Made to order in the UK from 100% prime-grade European oak using traditional joinery, so each door is strong, stable and full of natural character. The door is 44mm thick and available in four standard sizes, with bespoke sizes on request. Glazing The upper section is supplied unglazed with all the required oak beading, so you can install your own glass, clear, frosted or leaded, to suit your home and the light you want in the hall. Finishing & Care This door arrives prefinished and ready to hang, professionally finished to bring out the oak's natural tone and grain. Like any external oak door, it is best fitted in a sheltered spot, under a porch or canopy, rather than fully exposed to driving rain or strong sun. Timber is a natural material and can move a little as it settles in; the occasional minor adjustment is a normal part of looking after a solid oak door.
