We have a vintage Zildjian Istanbul K Ride 18-inch guitar in stock, believed to have been manufactured between 1972 and 1977! We have received an 18-inch K Zildjian Ride manufactur ed in Istanbul, Turkey, which appears to have been manufactured between 1972 and 1977 based on the "Newer new stamp" marking. It has just the right weight for an 18-inch ride, and produces a clear ping sound at a medium pitch despite its modest volume. Because it's been well-used, it has an excellent legato sound with gorgeous, dry overtones and a calm, unobtrusive sustain. When crashed, it displays the brilliance that is characteristic of Zildjian, and with the light legato and crisp cup sound that only a small diameter can provide, it is a perfect record for jazz. There are rivet holes so you can attach a separate sizzle to change the sound. The hole is approximately 12mm in diameter.
