We have a vintage Istanbul K Ride 18-inch guitar in stock, believed to have been manufactured between 1959 and 1966! We have received an 18-inch ride cymbal with an Intermediate st amp that appears to have been manufactured between 1959 and 1966. This is an easy-to-use instrument with an excellent balance of calm tone, light ping sound, and moderate overtones. The legato tones are complemented by complex overtones, giving the sound depth, and despite its small diameter, it has a moderate airiness. The cup sound is also distinctive, with a crisp and clear resonance, and when crashed it exhibits the brilliance that is characteristic of Zildjian. It can be used as both a main cymbal and a side cymbal, and its low volume makes it perfect for acoustic sessions. The hole diameter is approximately 12 mm.
