[A Zildjian Istanbul K-Ride, believed to have been manufactured between 1972 and 1977, has arrived. This is a very rare, lightweight example.] We have received a K Zildjian ride cymbal made in Istanbul, Turkey, which appears to have been manufactured between 1972 and 1977, judging from the "Newer new stamp" marking. This size is slightly smaller than 22 inches, measuring approximately 21.5 inches in actual size. It weighs 2136g. This is an extremely rare, lightweight specimen that has become very uncommon in recent years. The center hole has a diameter of approximately 12mm. It possesses a well-balanced, mature tone that truly embodies vintage character, allowing you to fully enjoy the dry yet delicate ping sound, along with a subtle hint of sizzle, resulting in a mature, old-school K-sound. The complex mid-to-low frequency harmonics add depth to the sound, and various expressions can be obtained depending on the hit point. The cup sound is crisp and has a clear accent. The crash response is also good, and the harmonic decay is fast, making it easy to control both crash and legato playing, resulting in a high degree of expressiveness. Experience the superb old K sound, perfectly suited for acoustic music. Size: Approximately 21.5 inches Weight: 2136g *As this is a vintage item, there may be some scratches, stains, rust, chipped edges, or enlarged center holes. Please be aware of this beforehand.
