Subsequence is a bilingual, semi-annual magazine published by Cubism Inc., the parent company of visvim. Founded and edited by Kosuke Ide, the magazine explores global arts, crafts, design, travel and culture through richly photographed essays and long-form storytelling. Guided by the theme “Arts & Crafts for the Age of Eclectic”, each issue celebrates craftsmanship, creativity and cultural heritage from diverse perspectives around the world. Volume 4, Small Talk, reflects on the value of time and the quiet moments that often define our lives. Through essays, photography and cultural observations, the issue turns its attention to the simple act of conversation – those fleeting exchanges shared with friends, family and loved ones that foster connection and meaning. Accompanying the issue is a special 24-page fashion appendix curated by Stephen Mann, extending the theme through a distinctive visual narrative. 156 pages 26 x 37 cm Bilingual in English and Japanese
